Making an Appointment
I am not able to take new clients for the time being. Please visit the website of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy to search for accredited therapists in your area. When I am able to accept new referrals, this website will be updated.
If you would like to make an assessment appointment with me I will be pleased to arrange this for you. An assessment session lasts 50 minutes (sometimes an hour for couples) and enables us to explore your situation and think together about whether further therapy with me could be helpful for you. Before your first session, I will ask for your email address in order to send you a link to a personal information sheet to complete before your assessment session.
To book an assessment, please call 01905 729618: you will usually hear my answerphone so please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible. No one else has access to this answerphone. Alternatively you can click here to email me and I will reply as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours.
I look forward to hearing from you and to meeting you.

"What we have to give up is the expectation that we will find answers deep inside; final explanations that will reveal everything and dispel all the mysteries and ambiguities of human action. But what we can hope for is better understanding that will enable us to live with both others and ourselves in a more generous, forgiving and constructive way." (T. Butt, "Understanding People", Palgrave, 2004)
Please note: the service I offer is not suitable for emergency needs. If you feel suicidal now, or feel that you need immediate help, please contact your GP or your local Accident and Emergency Department. The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day and you can be in touch with them by telephoning 116 123.
